How exactly am I ignorant for assuming a picture of mountains was not more than a hike? Technically, all but the summit was a hike and at a 5.7 its not like you are Chris Sharma or Reinhardt Messner. I'm sure you will correct me about all the technical portions of the route prior to the 5.7, and again probably call me ignorant for not knowing each of the dangers you have faced based on a single photograph, but I digress.

This thread has previously had the same sentiment you have added, with members bashing those of us who truck camp and explaining we are pussies for not backpacking or ultra light through hiking. Amazingly those members got the same treatment you are getting.

I bet if you knew what lots of the members in this thread have accomplished in life beyond their love of truck camping you might not be so motivated to share the amazing dangers of your "hike".

 I'm done if you are, or we can keep going until one of us gets banned. I'll leave it up to you.

The hell you say! You truck camper you!!
Says the gal who went straight from backpacking to camper camping! But the way I see it, I've only given myself more options and opportunities for outdoor recreation. In addition to MTB, my kayak, my truck, and "work".

Yeah. I think most of us have extreme stuff we do or used to do beyond tame truck based adventures. It's just most of us don't feel the need to blantantly belittle other members for enjoying the truck option also.

I'd rather not think of all the $ spent :(
I know this post is for pics but seeing all the RTTs, anyone play with a heat source more than a "buddy heater". I'm still leaning toward the RTT over the camper for the places I go but added heat would be awesome.

I don't have heat in mine, but someone a few pages back was talking about a heated blanket. That might help if you are looking for a heat source.
