I ordered some OKLED "rock lights" last night... not sure how they hook up or get wired but I plan on mounting 1 in each wheel well and then some under the tent for lighting.

I don't know HOW built up of a vehicle you are looking for (or if you're okay with Karen having a more capable rig than you :D) but if you want a badass truck, check this out. It's not a pretty, cushy truck, but if you want a monster of a trail rig, this thing is awesome.

Found out it belongs to someone I went to HS with. '85 4Runner. This thing is far from stock. Full size axles out of a '77 Chevrolet, 350 under the hood (and fuck does it sound good), mechanical Detroit lockers front and rear, Borg-Warner trans, has 37 (or 38s?) on it but also comes with a set 42s, electronic fuel pump, 15 gallon fuel cell in the back...There is definitely more I am forgetting. He is asking $3K OBO, and said he is "very negotiable" on the price. 1122161624.jpg 1122161622.jpg 1122161623.jpg 1122161624a.jpg 1122161622a.jpg 1122161622b.jpg

That would be a fun rig to drive for Jersey to Rausch.
But then again if Tim and Karen knew somebody that lived close to Rausch who could store it....hmmm

Owner says it actually does run down the highway at 80mph nicely. He was just at Rausch on the 13th and he drove it there. And it's ~2 hours from where I am.

Now whether you'd want to drive that 2 hours on the highway, I can't say.

Definitely not in the rain or snow. Detroit's suck on slippery roads. Need to learn to coast through corners.

No, you need the adapter ring provided by the crawlbox in order to do that.

Thanks. I was under there looking around and noticed that half of the bolts go from tranny into t-case, and the other half the opposite. I may do a test when I pull it all out to do my rear main seal.
