    Yeah, I'm hoping an AAL will give me a hair more lift to level me out. If not I'll give Tim a call and discuss.

    E30 or what used to be called H70's are now a custom spring and Deaver does not stock them.

    They can make you a custom leaf pack but that's not going to help you being in Sacramento since hey are in Santa Ana

    $900 plus for custom springs.

    Easiest solution to me would be getting new shorter shackles made that will cycle the shorter springs as good as they can be set up without moving the shackle pivot point and run it till you can save up for new springs.

    On a Dmz kit you would get 1/2" or less increase in height for every 1" you shorten the shackle.

    It would change how the leafs cycle and prob significantly limit droop travel and possibly bind the spring at bump

    Doing an AAL is all you can really do without getting a new heavier leaf pack made with the same geometry as the original.

    You can't have big changes in payload with long travel leaf springs without dramatic changes to ride height unless you want to start adding some sort of airbags or other secondary support for when you're vehicle is fully loaded.

    Thanks for the replies. I'm going to have the spring shop make me another main 1/2" shorter this time. If the shackle comes near the frame I'm going to do what I should have done the first time and that's increase the pressure in my bump stop and/or lengthen it from 2 to 3 or 4" to slow the contact at the frame. I really liked how it rode with the springs and it sucks right now with the shorter springs. Shortening or moving the shackle pivot isn't an option on my truck due to the way it's all built into the bed cage

    yea thats my plan eventually but i finally got a tundra axle and i think its geared at 3.90

    what tire size are you looking to run? if in the 33s i would do 4.88. cant remember on the tundra, but does it use the threaded adjusters?

    i have 285s now and probably wont go any bigger. im not sure about the threaded adjusters im new to this axle and gearing game

    so with a 32 then yea something a bit lower then a 4.88 would be good. what year tundra is it from?

    the guy i bought it from didnt remember its from a first gen but not sure the exact year. He had it as a spare for his built tacoma the thing was like 6+ over it was nuts!!

    ahh looks like it uses shims (which i hate dealing with) lol if it was the normal toyota with threaded collars i could help set it up as those are easy. but it seems those diffs are the same diff as the non locking tacoma thirds. so just wider then yours but not stronger.

    i got another brain buster will the rear brake drum assembly off my tacoma fit on the tundra axle? looks like the same bolt pattern and size

    if you have a elocker or 8" diff you have threaded adjusters.

    yea im keeping the shafts but im need drum brakes for this axle so i was just gonna swap my Tacomas but it looks like a pain

    So my t100 axle has adjusters? I k ow my Arb locker had shims
