mindblowing. <500 is totally doable and fair for a roof rack. I was kinda convinced by looking at baja/frontrunner that i'd be looking at double that.

Have you seen an awning on a prinsu? I'm trying to spec out how to do it, can't seem to find a build linked on the prinsu thread with one.

once I get a roof rack, I want to take my current awning(drivers bedside) and move it to passenger cabside. Then I can buy a foxwing awning and put that where the Tepui was, on the bed rack drivers side.

    270* Sun shades ftw

I got a prinsu. From what I've seen it's pretty easy. Just gotta fab a bracket for it or buy one. If you wanna take measurements or whatever I can be of assistance

Awesome, thanks. I have some L-brackets that are currently in use on the bed rack, perhaps I can just use the same brackets w a T-slot bolt off the rack. does that sound like it'd work?

    Impressive.

You're getting this mixed up with my rant on diff diapers. It's hard to keep track of all the products I rant about, I know. Want to ask me my opinion on 5100s? :p

I think it's useless because A) it bolts to the e-locker itself, at least in part, and B) if you look at your e-locker actuator it would be nearly impossible to hit. It's pretty high up on the 3rd member. You will nearly always hit your diff or driveshaft before getting anywhere close. It would take a very, very unique situation with a pointy rock or a stick to hit it. I'd save your money.

You are right that the back of the diff housing is pretty thin. Best solution is some sort of weld on cover IMO. That being said, I wheel my truck quite a lot and it hasn't presented an issue.

The drain plug is unrelated, mine just got messed up from dragging it across so many rocks. At the rate you wheel, you probably won't grind through that ring for another decade.

Thank for the explanation. I know the actuator is up and out of the way but I thought it would be cheap protection.
