Just starting to do some research at looking into getting a light bar. I just found this thread and the deal and simple package looks tempting but I don't know much about any of these bars. I'd imagine they have changed a lot in the last few years. What I'm wondering is how bright is this light bar compared to others? Is this as bright as the more expensive light bars? Do they not make a 10 w osram bulbs? How would this compare to a Cree light bar? I live up in the mountains and just really want to light up the road. Would the flush version be better to be able to aim the bar better if needed? Any feeeback or reviews would be great. Thanks.

@CaliRaisedLed can jump in and provide more details here on the bar specifics.

What I can tell you is they are 5W LEDs and they are super bright. There are some cheaper LEDs out there and there are the high end ones. I think these are the best of both worlds. The quality is there and they have all the right things. Quality LEDs, IP68 rating, polycarbonate lens and a great support staff provided by Cali Raised!

The mounts make a difference too. In my opinion not all mounts are the same. Some are made of thinner material or lack support against vibration. Ours are 3/16 steel, mount in 3 places instead of two and have the welded on anti vibration gusset. I think they speak for themselves. Check out post #1 to see an example of one of our mounts!

Oh yes!!!! I should have these next week for final inspection, install and ordering info. Got these pics from @CaliRaisedLed as a preview, they helped me get these harnesses made to my specs.

My 32" LED gets used probably 5 times a year... But I am grateful each and every time I have it. I hate being on the trail at night with no lighting.

Chris said most of what I was going to say, but exactly we use 5W OSRAM led's which are super high quality, we used to use 3w CREE led's but we upgraded to a 5w since it will produce a greater amount of light for our customers and who doesn't want more light. We have sold to MANY tacomaworld members here so I bet you can get so input there. Heres is a picture of our 5d 30".

What are the exact dimensions of the 32" bar?

Yes, I know it's approx. 31.5" long, but need height and depth for a stealth install. I have an S/C with inter-cooler and need to make sure it will fit without relocating other components.

These will fit perfectly into the blanks on 3rd gens correct? Also, will these work with other brand light bars? Thinking about ordering 2 for my retrofit source bar as well.

It fits into the single tall blank on the left hand side of the steering wheel. If you want two, then I would advise to look at the Cali Raised switch panel they make that replaces the coin slot on the left hand side. That one holds 3 tall switches like these.

Not yet, I want to get them in hand to inspect them and ensure they are perfect. I don't want to have peoples money if they aren't right. I know they will be good but I am just careful and picky and want to keep your best interests in mind, even if it is a little bit of a hassle. Should have by Wed next week.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
If we have already places an order, what do we have to do to get the new harness? Just shell out $22?

The premium harnesses are a new product and will be on the site when I get them. If you want to upgrade to one then yes, you can place a new order. I will check my system to see who ordered a harness and see if they have a pending order and add it to the box. If I don't get it in the box it will be shipped separate at my expense. Either way you will be covered.

Also remember you get a free generic harness with your order, so not a requirement to upgrade, just an option we offer.
