I don't like using the truck for pleasure driving. Mostly utility. So it has 5500 miles on it on it's one year birthday....I ride the bike on nice days and have always had a roadster of some kind( two Convertible Corvettes 05/08, 2012 Miata SE,,,,,,,and .. For now its a 13 SLK 350

    20161115_170350_zpsy6oqnlyt_b2423851598d6db84d24c4256c64294e4982f3c7.jpg

The Miata was ok but becasue of the black wheels and top it looked more age appropriate for a 20 something. Alway felt like I was driving a kid's car. Sold it and bought the SLK.

SLK's are nice but can't get around thinking they are a bit girly.

Yeah like Miatas, they are girly. But at 61 years old I have learned over a long life to buy what I want without attention to those things that would shake up a younger guy.

You mean you bought it for your sister? I'm confused.

SLKs come with free driving shoes.

    The answer is always miata

I sold the Miata. I try not to trade. Went from one hairdresser's car to another. But at my age I could not care less
what others might think. I did not like the Miata becasue it was not age appropriate (yet most owners are 50s and male) with the black wheels and top.

I am not an autocrosser or racer. I just like a two seater with all the tech i could want. I have had quite a few. Its the SLK's turn in the barrel..Next up will be a used Mazda RF.....in a couple years.

What I would have purchased if there was local dealer is the Porsche Cayman.

The Mercedes SLK forum doesn't know what's coming for them.

Do you really prefer white vehicles, or is that just coincidence?

Beautiful car! Wish I could afford one but in my early 20's I think I'm good. Haha.

I bought an older sister for mine last month. Loving her so far. The whole thing is just built around the engine, the interior makes you feel like you're bathing in cheap plastics, which is true. But hey, it does have leather seats! Only 45K miles too.

I like some of the Mercs, but I'm more of a BMW guy myself, more for the older models though. Have a friend with an E36 M3 that has 250K miles but is practically mint. Meticulously maintained. Though I'd take a new M2 any day.

I don't know why you sold the NC it's like having all the fun of a kid car while still looking like an adult because it's not a bagged to shit first gen and it's stock. I like it but I guess everyone's got a preference

Yeah I have no interest in the AMG. More of the younger set buys those who want bragging rights as to speed and performance a GL would be nice but at almost $80K that is not gonna happen.

You should read the Miata forum. All those guys care about are tuners, headers, exhausts . That's a whole different hobby. If I want a fast car , I will buy another Vette, I buy the car that already does what I want. Mostly becasue I don;t keep them long and buyers don't like modified vehicles. I would not buy a modified car or truck
