Sick truck man. I am on the fence about 255/85/16 (33/10.5) are you running wheel spacers? Pro comp 7069?

Oh, and OP asked for 31s, not 33s. Mind you, I'm not complaining

I'm fine either way. Its a noce looking truck but I'm just regretting the decision with 33x12.50s lol not sure about 10.50s

Yeah I know just figured I would throw it in... my last set of tires were 31x12.50R15. I uped the size and went narrower with a higher load rate, they handle better and I see less roll in the tire so don't hesitate to pay alittle more for the higher load. They aren't procomps but very similar from discount tire, no spacers they clear the calipers barely... IMO if you have a lift... go 33's....

For sure, I won't step up the size till I regear.

As a ExPo forum member stated once, build a truck around the tire you want to run. And pick that size based on usage. Too many jacked up trucks on 35s and they are DD. (again, if this is your trail truck, then go for it). If you use it 70% on road, 20% gravel roads, and only 10% trails, maybe 33s are a touch big. Why bother with negative consequences if the pros are negligible.

I have never out driven my 265s yet. If you are going into spots that NEED 285s, you WILL need armour if you don't want body damage. So you are back to the "heavy truck" and need a regear anyway.
Properly running 33s costs more than throwing on Bilstiens, an AAL, and buying tires. End rant.

Yea I've definitely regretted the 33s. The only pro I've seen is looks and i honestly dont think that is worth the rubbing, handling, and power loss. Thats why im leaning towards the 265/70r16s and maybe 265/75r16s after that

Why would you want to get smaller tires? Re-gear that bad boy, tub the fenders and stuff some 35's!Screenshot_2016-11-22-18-08-46-1.jpgThis is my 2003 2.7L auto with factory 4.56 gears and 34's. Even with the camper, I could easily keep up with traffic

It's mainly because of the slight difference in handling (i notice little things) and the rubbing. Also, i dont have the money for regearing since I'm still in school and don't have much time to work. (plus the mpg difference doesn't help)

Does anyone have pictures of a 2.5/3" lift with 31s or 265/70s or 265/75s?

I just wanted something different and it doesn't sucks water in. it rains like crazy here. I'm sure I'm losing a few hp since it is pointed back without a scoop but the truck still does 140 kmph =100 mph pretty easy. And it rains so hard here you can't see 20 ft away.

It's not for everyone I wanted something different. and the snorkels are on the left side over here.

Different country, different truck. It probably came like that. I can't tell but I'm gonna guess Thailand, based on the license plate and his name is @Thaitoy
