It's a good goal. Look up the rules.

Edit: Just to be clear I mean the ruling is correct. I mean it blows for the Ducks but you never see the puck come back out from under that pad so it's impossible to tell where it is. In theory if it's in contact with the stick OR already in the net then the puck has not been trapped by the goalie yet and the goal is good. Without magical powers there is no way to tell either way. Hence a good goal, no matter how biased that puck daddy fellow is. Bernier needs to learn to kick that puck out. He had that issue in TO too. Way to many bad goals by mishandling the puck, especially in close.

Actually its not a good goal. Pushing the goalie across the goal line with the puck is against the rules. Bernier was sliding back with his foot in line with the goal post and then his leg was pushed to get the puck to cross the line. Bad goal.

You can't see where the puck is, so if it was just against the goalies pad he does not have control of the puck. Which would make the rule about pushing a goalie with the puck trapped irrelevant.

84.4 Shootout - During regular-season games, if the game remains tied at the end of the five (5) minute overtime period, the teams will proceed to a shootout. The rules governing the shootout shall be the same as those listed under Rule 24 - Penalty Shot.

    Rule 24 - Penalty shot

Rule 24.2: Procedure - The Referee shall ask to have announced over the public address system the name of the player designated by him or selected by the team entitled to take the shot (as appropriate). He shall then place the puck on the center face-off spot and the player taking the shot will, on the instruction of the Referee (by blowing his whistle), play the puck from there and shall attempt to score on the goalkeeper. The puck must be kept in motion towards the opponent’s goal line and once it is shot, the play shall be considered complete. No goal can be scored on a rebound of any kind (an exception being the puck off the goal post or crossbar, then the goalkeeper and then directly into the goal), and any time the puck crosses the goal line or comes to a complete stop, the shot shall be considered complete

    Also see

    Rule 78- Goals

    78.5 Disallowed Goals
(ix) When a goalkeeper has been pushed into the net together with the puck after making a save. See also 69.6

Rule 69 - Interference on the Goalkeeper

69.6 Rebounds and Loose Pucks - In a rebound situation, or where a goalkeeper and attacking player(s) are simultaneously attempting to play a loose puck, whether inside or outside the crease, incidental contact with the goalkeeper will be permitted, and any goal that is scored as a result thereof will be allowed. In the event that a goalkeeper has been pushed into the net together with the puck by an attacking player after making a stop, the goal will be disallowed. If applicable, appropriate penalties will be assessed. If, however, in the opinion of the Referee, the attacking player was pushed or otherwise fouled by a defending player causing the goalkeeper to be pushed into the net together with the puck, the goal can be permitted. In the event that the puck is under a player in or around the crease area (deliberately or otherwise), a goal cannot be scored by pushing this player together with the puck into the goal. If applicable, the appropriate penalties will be assessed, including a penalty shot if deemed to be covered in the crease deliberately (see Rule 63 – Delaying the Game).

If the puck was just against his pad he doesn't have control of the puck.. end of story. Had he gloved it or something and then gotten pushed it would be a different scenario. Until he clearly has control of the puck he hasnt made the save.

Not how it works in a shootout. If it was in regular time or 5 min OT, you would be correct. However in a shootout the moment the puck is shot, the play is considered complete. He shot the puck then while jamming his stick against the pad and then PUSHED the goal tenders leg turning him and crossing the goal line. Pushing his leg over the goal line is stated in Rule 78 (ix). He made the save and then was pushed across the goal line.

    Bad goal.

Looks like one motion to me. Goes to the back hand and the puck stays on his stick the whole time. There was never a time when there was a shot and the puck actually left his stick. So the whole motion of going to the backhand all the way through the push can be considered the shot.

Thats assuming he made the save..... what part of the video shows him making the save... looks like the puck is still being "shot" through the whole time the tender was pushed.

The puck makes contact with the left pad. Goaltender is sliding back with his leg extended going right towards the goal post. Player pushes goaltender causing goal tenders leg to spin and not make contact with the goal post, ie goaltender interference. Had he not pushed the goaltender, his leg would have made contact with the post and never would have crossed the goal line.
