The driveline shop wussed out so I shipped them to CVJ. $400 for rebuilt OE axles with high angle boots and my shafts installed and shipped back to me.

I'll take you up on that. I would've kept trying myself but those axles were 100k old and the rebuild was probably a good thing.

Brand new axles are probably way easier to swap the shafts

That's what I've heard most have had to do.

I was afraid of that and afraid of breaking the circlip too. So I just sent them out. :D

    Biggest downside to the
Circlip is garbage anyways, more worried about destroying the splines in the star

Haven't heard that one yet but definitely possible if you press it out incorrectly or beat the splines trying to get it out.

Even if you press it properly - if the circlip doesn't want to play games leaving its groove your either shearing the axle splines or the internal splines to get it out. I had to use a brass punch to clean my "stars" splines out.

Holy shit! So did the splines in the star piece get screwed up too? That's crazy

Haha it's cool. I'm not like one of the people in your thread. I could care less. Those falkens are dope and I've heard great things about them and I would've taken the coopers but for the price I got the MTRs. No point in getting the smaller tires haha

I warrantied out my calipers today because they were rusty and "I was having braking issues" so now I got nice new ones and throwing a coat of paint on so they don't rust! :militarypress:
