    I'm going to be up in Monterey at my mom and sister's place but planning on being back in LA Saturday night, might be up for a Sun run if you guys are. If all goes according to plan I'll be picking up a Softopper while I'm up there for dirt cheap....

    Bryan will be heading out Thursday, myself Ron and Mike are aiming to be there Friday mid day probably... Still to be determined. Camping trip too :D
    I'm 2wd open diff so yes :D
    It's a flat dry lake bed that's great for speeding, drifting around, donuts etc. With some hills to climb nearby.

    One side(cougar buttes) is rolling hills and open trails with some smaller rock crawler type stuff and a lake bed and the other side of JV is hammertown where king of the hammers is located for the gnarly rock crawling stuff about a 40x40 mile area all together.

    If you are coming from yucca valley headed to cougar buttes area you would takes 247/old women springs Rd into Lucerne valley and exit camp rock road to your right hand side. Follow that down about a mile to the entrance or wherever they plan to set-up. There are are few different entrances/roads to the right where you head in at off camp rock road.
