I actually worked today. You bunch of slackers.

 

Fried. Best ever. Once you fry one you will never want to use the oven again. Difference is moisture and time. A 12 lb turkey takes just 41 minutes to cook. You can inject too for add'l flavor.

 

This Is precisely how i see @2016spicytaco fried turkey shenanigans going...

 

Its not any worse than you welding with a can of fuel next to you!

 

Does it stay moist the second day though? The baked ones always seem to dry out.

 

Don't know. Its so good there's never any left overs...

 

Do you stick the whole bird in the smoker or cut it up than do it?

 

Speaking of meat....what did you do with all the elk?

 

Nothing. But the deer we butchered up and all that fun stuff. You need to buy some of those targets with us so we can fill the second pack. And @Ag63i2 needs some and @kashtyaatsi needs some too

I don't really use paper targets, but I suppose I could eventually use 50 of them if need be.

I did whole turkeys 2 at one time and took forever to do but was worth it

On another note I've been reading and doing the you tube thing about wiring for most the day, what a way to take a day off
I find this stuff really interesting and I like it!!

 

I think this how @BDN envisions his effort at deep fried too!!
