damn don i can't quite figure out what to say rt now. i've lost 2 good friends and a cousin this way and that was difficult enough i can't, as a father especially, even imagine your loss. i have absolutely nothing but respect for your sharing of this for i'm sure even thinking of it is never easy.

 

these freakin hollidays are nothing but added work

 

Her life and her loss is now a part of what makes me, well, me. So I never hide her.

I loved her, I miss her, and I will never understand why.

 

Absolutely,but m lucky this time. Out to eat then back home.... No mess.

yeah uh the whole family is coming to my house hers and mine. to include 4 children under 2 1/2. i also get the added joy of picking mom up and bringing her here and taking her home

 

We use to have enough people around to start a football team and practice squad. Way to much work now.

i thought it sounded familiar so i googled. my daughter graduated from emory & henery just below glade springs we drove through chilhowie every time we went there.

God bless your daughter and you. I'm so sorry for your loss. Nothing I can imagine is worse than losing a child. May you and your family have peace during the holidays and find fondness in memories of better times.

No words can ease either one of yours pain. My father used to say it was selfish for someone to take their life because of the pain it caused others. He would especially get pissed when they were older. But there is much more to it than that and he never understood that.

My youngest son is in lockdown tonight. Not quite ready to disclose everything but hard to believe that after fighting for his life with cancer for almost a year and they gave him little chance to survive that he would even consider taking his life. Sat there after his mother left us and pretty much abandoned us and held his hand while I watched where I work save his life more times than I want to consider. And now this. Tomorrow I will go to the buffet at HyVee grocery store for Thanksgiving dinner. Not how it was supposed to be, at least in my mind.

I can't tell either of you how much my heart goes out to both of you. I don't understand either and mental health in every country is in a very poor state. My wish is that finally that will turn around and be focused on. It is too late for both of you, and crushes me. It hits very close to home and I know for a fact that I am not the only one.
