Right now 3 inch lift 3 inch body lift but I am going to put 6 inch lift on later
hi I have a 07 4x4 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L with 3 inch lift and 3 inch body lift. Can I run 305/70 or 295/70/18 on it. I'm going to be putting a 6 inch lift on this summer and I don't want to have to buy more tires so I want to go as big as I can now so I don't have to up grade later. I do not off road my truck at all so I just want a/T tires

I'm running 305 70r16 on 3 inches of lift. Just be prepared to trim a little. Cab mount might rub at full lock as well.

Can't go wrong. 305s are gonna suck for gas mileage. They will most likely be noisy and won't handle as well as smaller tires. To answer your question, yes. They will fit as long as you have the correct backspacing to clear your uca's.

I am confused, you don't drive your truck offroad, but are lifting it 6"? Am I missing something?

    6" isn't for off-road. It's for show, not go.

Assuming he's going for the look. To each their own. It may not be what you or I would do. But it's his truck, his money, and his decision. Let's respect that.

SAS is different, he would've said SAS if that's what he was doing. DB is for show.

6" with 35s looks great on these trucks.

So your 3inch body lift and your 6 inch drop bracket lift is going to ok at 9 inches , right?

Yes. The only way to know how much is to test for the tires and cut accordingly. Each truck is different so there is no exact measurement on how much cutting is necessary.
