I'd do that, but the ones they currently have sound like they are really screwed up weird (at least I don't understand the description). Other than that, they haven't posted anything new in the last 2 months.

For the SR8's? Doesn't sound bad, sounds like just the lip. Which is covered by the fake beadlock ring. Or if it's on the ring you'll scratch that up anyway. My "blemished" wheel said there were scratches on the lip.. I still can't find them. Also if you are worried just ask for some pics

I was talking about the set of four F5s. It took me some read throughs, but it sounds like 2 paint issues, one needs extra weights. The last one is the questionable one, which has a casting flaw in one of the lug nut holes. I messaged the guy for more info, I'd assume it's nothing structural, but want to be sure.

I'm down to go back up on Friday night. You need to break those gears in.

I'll see what I can do. I was thinking about camping Friday night somewhere. Snow level is supposed to hit 2000'.

Ohh okay last I heard you were looking at SR8's. yeah that does sound odd for the balancing issue.
    Where'd you go?

Looks like I could hit that in my Jetta. It's got snow tires and FWD...that will be enough, right?

Looks like I won't get my new truck until sometime next week now. It had an aftermarket CAI, and because I got a 3 year warranty on it, they have to put it back to stock. I told them to feel free to leave the aftermarket one in the foot space of the truck when it was swapped out. I'm ready to be back in a truck again.

I like the F5s a bit more, but either are fine. I didn't think the balancing would be that big of a deal? I'm only concerned about the one with the casting issue at this point

I'd ask Vin about it and see what he says. I trust his opinion as my "blemished" wheels are flawless from what I can see.

Those have the 4.5" bs, just keep in mind. When I was mid travel and ran that exact wheel I rubbed the frame at full lock/stuff. Not too much but a little bit. Also it was too much of a "tucked" look for me so if you have the option i'd go for 3.5" bs version.
