All things considered, not bad. I'm surprised that nothing else hurts just my stupid leg.

    How's work going?

yeah....it takes a while for all of the ouches to set in...

work is crazy - got a 4 day holiday weekend to take five though. we are getting a double whammy of workload right now between all of the new construction projects that are finishing up and doing interior work plus the crazy remodel rush as folks want to revamp their houses before guests arrive for the holidays.

Nice. We are getting those. A lot of the "hey I need you to do this major job that's going to take 5 weeks but I want it done in 2" coming up. One guy keeps friggin harassing us to start and we keep telling him I can't make his deadline he has in place. I think we are about to start it just to shut him up lol

hope everyone is doing well this thanksgiving! things are much better for us this year - last year mom was dealing with a blood clot on her lung after her hip surgery. i did dinner only because the damn bird was thawed and i didn't want to refreeze it. was a pretty miserable, stressful day for us all. this year mom and i were back to teaming up in the kitchen - i just kinda hung back, wanted to see what all she could do. much more enjoyable day this year

No breaks or fractures. Surgeon was surprised. Said with my weight, height I fell, and the way I landed, I should have broke something.

Soft issue damage. Need to let it start healing to find out if any muscle, nerve, tendon or ligament damage. Have to start phsyio soon

My wife will fix ya up, she's a PT. Be a bit of a commute though. haha

Thanksgiving was good. The days since, not so much... My Grandpa passed away on Saturday so the whole family was there with my Grandma on Sunday. Well Lucky got into a fight with my Grandpa's dog (the other dog started it) and Lucky tore him up pretty bad. Being Sunday night we couldn't get ahold of a vet so my Grandma made the decision to have us take him out back and put him down. He was a rather unruly little Shih-Tzu who had a history of biting people and has been on edge without my Grandpa around anymore. My Grandpa had had him for 13 years and they thing he was 3 or 4 when they got him. He was almost completely deaf and blind, so it wasn't exactly a bad thing to have to put him down and is probably better for my Grandma in the long run since they never got along.

Anyway, then on Monday Candice was informed that her Grandma had passed away that morning so now we have almost back to back funerals. We just had 2 other funerals (Candice's Grandpa and an Uncle) 2 months ago plus my Mom's back in February so that is 5 close family members this year now.

So sorry to hear about all the deaths Brady. Condolences to you and Candice and the rest of your family. Sounds like my '98. Hope Lucky is ok. Sorry about the other dog, too.
