Just don't flash any dark blue F150s with a cap or you might get return fire!

Giving up soda for me was huge when I did the weight loss challenge with my buddies. Plus watching what and how much I ate, and adding cardio everyday did the trick. Lost 30 lbs from beginning of May to 4th of July.

At around 152-153 right now. Started at 182.

Happy turkey day everyone by the way. I'm giving thanks that the wife "splurged" and got a double oven when we bought our house back in 2010, because my inlaws over "blew up" this morning.

Just finished my little jog and a "few" pull-ups. My youngest came down and just put me to shame (5yrs) doing 9in a row.:facepalm:that's enough for me for today.
I get to the top of the stairs and there's my other daughter dancing to the music that was just on the parade. she already had it pulled up on the computer and was watching it all over again and dancing to it.

Gave up soda 3 years ago when I had a kidney removed. Dr said soda wasn't good for it, so out it went. Only have water, orange juice or lemonade for summer time. Makes a difference in weight loss like everyone else says. Plus it's great to not have to spend the money on it anymore.

I was dropping 2-3 2 liter bottles of Dew a day. How's that?

Water, powerade Zero, or my amino acid drink. Gotta lay off the Monster drinks though

 Holy crap dude!!! I thought I was drinking too much pop with about 3 cans a day. Don't the energy drinks have a bunch of sugar in them? Haven't tried them before but I would think that they do

Same here I gave up on soda probably eight or nine years ago, I hated how it made me feel. The only thing I drink is water, coffee, or beer. I've even cut back quite a bit on my beer intake the past couple months mainly because I've felt a little crappie with a cough that just won't go away. my wife also tells me my snoring is getting out of control lately too. somethings gotta change, I've never been like this.

It's not always the sugar in the energy drinks that you have to worry about. Some of them have a bunch of other crap that can make your heart rate sky rocket and blood pressure rise.

They do, though you can get sugar and calorie free ones. My coworker says she can smell the sugar when I open one.

True but they do have some good vitamins. I'm immune to caffeine honestly..I gulped a 16 ounce Monster down in a minute at darts and my teammate almost lost his mind.

The amino acid powder is some good stuff and works out cheaper actually

I was probably drinking more than that when I was in my early 20's. By my late 20's my stomach couldn't handle it anymore. I probably had a can of soda in my hand as often as a chain smoker had a cigarette in theirs.

True. And since I already have high blood pressure and a history of that and diabetes in the family, figured it's best to stay away from them and just go to the gym so I can live longer and annoy the wife.
