Couple of places I called can get Falken, but not that tire, one other can get that tire but neither of the 16/17 sizes!

Canada's an odd place at times.

Yup. WA might be a good bet, or online and shipped to WA...

I'll keep looking, and consider the others too

    No problem!

I like it because it's actually in CDN, gives you a good idea of what stores will charge for tires. You can also see the different sizes of each tire and their prices when you chose a specific tire brand. Can actually get shipping to your door mounted and balanced as well!

I hate my ATm's in our wet coastal snow , my Hankook MT's were better

I'm in WA, ran KO2s for an entire year. They were great dry weather tire, mediocre in wet conditions, and absolutely shit in anything more than a brushing of snow. Just really slick and slippery in stuff they should have had no problem running in.

I've since switched to Duratracs, and have not looked back. This forum may be light on Duratrac users, but everyone else I talk to in snow territory seems to be running them too, for good reason.

Lets just put this out there , because it doesn't seem to come up very often

"The PNW" is a huge region and there is definitely a difference in snow types ( ie wet snow / slush typical on the coast versus dry snow more typical as you move away from the coast) and how different tires react to those snow types .

So keep that in mind too OP .

Good point, I should have specified Coastal but I'm no stranger to venturing towards Nelson is that's where the pow is!

If I was in your position where you are planning on travelling to the interior in winter , I would run a dedicated winter tire
