Hello all, Happy Thanksgiving!! Just joined today but have been using info from this forum for quite a while...very helpful.

I couldn't find this topic anywhere so please forgive and redirect me if it has been addressed before.

Bought Weathertech liners #446551 for my 2015 Tacoma TRD Pro. The passenger side had a 1"gap and the retailer told me to send them back and sent out a replacement. New ones came...same issue. I've been reading that it takes a while for heat to allow them to mold to the floor. Regardless...doesn't look like they are laser fit when there is a gap from the liner to the side of the interior. Has anyone experienced this and what did you do?

It doesn't bother you? Does it collect debris in that pocket?

    2013 4Runner and 2013 Tacoma and both have tight/good fits from Weather-Tec.

But time / heat seem reasonable. If it isn't pulling away from that edge and it easily 'gets there', maybe some double sided carpet tape to retrain it?

I set mine out in the sun when i got them to heat them up and then was able to "mold" them a little to make them fit better.

Mine don't fit all that great either. The passenger side one also formed a lump/bubble right on the logo. I think whenever I have money to blow, I'm gonna try Huskys.

Yes Weatheretech is a piss poor fit in the Taco. I would always read all the kudos and praises on the forum about how they were so great and worth the high price, Then I bought them and was so disappointed in the fit. The fit puts them in the $30 a pair price range IMHO.

Just got mine so I don't know how much it will affect function. I was surprised they didn't fit better considering they laser scan the vehicles. But maybe they will form once they warm up a bit. I installed them on a cold day.

The husky liners i feel get by this because they dont cover up as high up. I noticed this with the Tundra ones i recently installed. I cant say anything bad about the tacoma weathertech ones I have. Going strong for a few years now.

We have them in my wife's Outback, and they work / fit pretty well, but $200 for a set of floor mats is absurd. I know that Weather Tech customer service will tell you to use a hair dyer to help mold them, but shit for $200, you shouldn't need to do a thing to them. They have a lot of balls charging what they do for these things, but hey, people pay for them. We all did.

One of the reasons I never got them for the truck is that they don't fully cover the dead pedal. I always rest my foot on that thing, and imagine the salty water from my feet would end up pooling under that spot.

I have them in my 15. Over time they seemed to lay down and fit better.

My weathertechs fit fine. I did trim a little section near the throttle pedal because it was keeping the pedal from going all the way down.
