My buddy ran coopers sst on his cummins... same tread pattern as the toyos but way softer compound. im very weary of new tread designs until someone runs them at least 2 seasons. stick with what works... at $1500 for a set of 5 thats a lot of money to spend then being stuck with something for 3 years. i think ill try the MTRs next round. For being an e rated tire, are they lighter than the toyo mts?

Yes much lighter. My 285 MTR's were significantly lighter than my 265 Toyo MT's.

Radio tower above gold Creek and I90 at snoqualmie pass. Close to 6" at the top. Tires are 285/70/17 Cooper MTPs. Tires did awesome and made it pretty far until it got pretty steep in 2wd, no need to air down yet, maybe tomorrow night.

I like mine far more than the toyo MT's I had on my Touareg and the AT's I just replaced. The coopers balanced out way better than the AT's. They grip and clear as long as you keep the RPM's up

Thinking about selling my taco due to family needs changing. I need a full size rig I can tow with and carry more stuff in the back. I love this truck, but it's just a toy really, I just don't know where to start for an asking price? It's got plenty of flaws and good points too.
2008 TRD off road 6-speed with $63K miles, 4.88 front, 4.86 rear Currie 9+ with 35 spline axles, rear ARB, new rear brakes, new rear 2.5 kings, 6" Pro Comp db lift, rear Apex bumper, loud stereo, CB, hood struts, console vault, roof rack, front seat covers, URD stage 3 clutch, MT ATZ 37" tires on walker evens 17" wheels, camburg unibal uppers, Tom Woods one piece driveline, ruff stuff track bar, recent tune up, roll up bed cover, bolt on steps, custom mandrel bent rig welded stainless exhaust with stainless magnaflow muffler.
The bad, needs a new track bar front bushing and I think outter tie rods as the front end squeaks bad sometimes. The front brakes are about 25%, needs real sliders, skids, spare tire, and a comp for the rear ARB to really wheel. The paint is just ok, I think it's been re painted once and the factory clear coat is peeling on the drivers door, all panels are vin matching except the tailgate. The throw out bearing makes some noise.
It drives awesome for what it is, what's a fair price??? I'll include pics when I can. The rearend set up has one year of commuting on and was just over $8k to do.

It's a narrow market, but is $16K to $17K-ish about right?

With the mileage and condition, with mods in consideration, I'd start at $20k. Don't be surprised if you get hit up by NWMS there was another member from Cali, his truck made it to Oregon then to NWMS in puyallup for sale for like $20k+
