Picked up these new bulbs from @xmods. Got them installed and the cutoff looks cleaner than the standard D2S bulbs that come with the retrofit kit from TRS. I'll try and test them out tonight. I also had a chance to re-align the horizontal cutoff since I had the headlights out. I was a little worried because the bulbs are 5500K but I'm very pleased because they look like the same color as my old 4700k.

I also changed out my front diff fluid after some break in time from the new gears and locker install. I changed the rear diff fluid also, just because I've been beating on the truck the last couple of trips. Here's a pic so everyone knows what oil dripping looks like. lol

They are not plug and play unless you have full retrofitted headlights. They have to use an HID ballast and always should be installed in a projector made for HID bulbs.

These are some pics of when I tore apart my lights to do the retrofit.

Here's some night shots of the new Osram CBI bulbs. Brighter than the old Morimoto bulbs they replaced and the cutoff is cleaner.

One thing weird about having projectors is that they do not light up the street signs. I need to have my fogs on to be able to see the signs easy.

Maybe cause the light doesn't scatter up. My LED's on the other hand lights up everything reflective but, the output , placement and straight up usefulness of yours are way better.

Mine don't. Absolutely no light gets above the cutoff. It's alright, I just turn the fogs on if I need to

Exact reason why I got rid of mine. To me, the stock halogens headlight do a good enough job.
And VLEDs are bright as hell. I had to make mine dim with the lights on, they're Amber and still light things up.

Was that you on the Pali yesterday?
On a side note, every time that my 2 year old comes to the computer, he asks to see the videos of "Uncle Dana's truck!" He can recognize Daddy's truck and Uncle Dana's, and he hasn't even seen it in person. Its hilarious.

First piece of my battery relocation puzzle arrived today. These bus bars will be mounted where the stock battery used to sit and will be the main junction point for the positive and negative main wires.
