The drop bracket lift requires the front cross member to have a section cut out for the front driveline to go through. For the rear, I'd have to buy another taco elocker rearend and have the gears changed, driveline made, shock mounts modified, ect. Not worth the hassle even though I'll end up loosing a ton of money. It's not something I ever planned to sell, in fact I have a Dana 60 here I planned to SAS the truck in a couple years, but life has got in the way so to speak.

Just talking about northwest Motorsports (company who bought your old taco off the guy who bought it from you) and how they like to put big lifts/tires on and double the price.

Per insurance on totaling my truck, I'm supposed to get about $17k for it.
2.7l, 5 speed, tow package (put on aftermarket including 7 pin and brake controller), 3" OME lift, ATO IFS skid, BAMF LCA skids, blue sea fuse block, custom homemade battery grounding, extra halogen lights up front, factory gears no e locker, 79k miles.
They told me I could pull the armor, fuse block, and grounding, and I also took the brake controller and lights. Suspension I could only take if I could put something back in, and per insurance, aftermarket suspension drops the value of the truck.

See what KBB and Nada values are then go up from there a little bit. I would think that you could easily start asking more like $20k, and if you take your time, then find the right person, get more like $25k.

I completely understand life getting in the way and needing a bigger truck. My "new" truck is 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4 door 6 ft bed, hemi 5.7 v8. I've stressed my taco out several times doing hay runs (2 ton between truck/trailer), hauling dirt, gravel, garbage, pulling junipers fir a couple days then hauling those, firewood runs. Taking my travel trailer to NE Oregon was a slow trip. Google said 3.5 hours, real time said 5 hours because I couldn't hold speed. I also talked to my wife, and to,d her that if I got another Tacoma, it would be an off-road vehicle, because of the size, and doesn't have the pulling power I am looking for. That isn't something I have the spare capital for at this point in my life.

@BoatRacer I'm a lil sad to see your sick Taco head down the road. I remember parking my truck basically underneath it like a wheel chock at a mod day you hosted. Them 37's tho.

Thanks again for all the help with our trucks!

I haven't made my mind up just yet. It's just difficult to justify keeping it and buy another truck. Specially when I have so many vehicles as it is. I don't know, it's a tough thing to part with!
