3rd Gen White Tacomas - Post them up!

First snow!

 

I dropped off mine to get the windows tinted yesterday. They called to let me know it was ready so I asked them to price a leveling kit. 2" front and 1" rear.

An hour later or so I see a msg, hit play, and the guy tells me "there isn't a leveling kit yet for the TRD Pro model. Should be one available early next year, so give it a few months.

After I stopped laughing, I called to let them know my truck is Nicknamed:

"The MUTANT TACO"

BECAUSE IT'S PART SPORT, OFF ROAD, AND TRD PRO MODELS ALL MIXED INTO ONE!

Kid got a good laugh out of it, so he called me back later with a price for a Sport model. Looks like The MUTANT TACO did its job. I'll see what the kids at the dealership think later today. Gotta stop by and Fax something to Coporate Toyota. Should get a few double takes......"What the Heck Model is that Thing".

2017 TRDOR DC 4x4. First Toyota product as I have historically been a Jeep guy and have owned a TJ Wrangler, '81 CJ-7 and still have a 2000 WJ with OME lift. Came to the Taco from a 2016 WRX(fun car and wish I could afford both). So far it feels good to be back in a pickup(My last was an '83 Ford Ranger 4x4) and yes I'm old.

This forum is a trip, I get a kick out of the replies and I don't feel like a man if I don't have KO2's on my truck LOL!

 

Ugh (sigh) just waiting on ol' fedex to show up with my afe intake and scoop.

 

Im running dick cepek dc2 wheels. 17x9 -12 offset. Clear UCAs no problems. Running 265/65/17 duratracs. With plenty of clearence no rubs anywhere even at full flex

 

No shit? Do you have a copy of your print out when you got the alignment? I put camburg UCA's on, are yours stock?

Also did you lift your front end?

That's about 2 1/2" lift right ?

 

Out of the box, yes. I've cranked up the coil overs a bit to accommodate the larger tires so it's closers to 3 now

Did you have the lower portion of the tailgate repainted matte black?
