Finally pulled the trigger on the new tires. After a solid month of research (and a canceled order for Toyo A/Ts) went with the Duratracs.

IMO the nastiest looking A/T on the market. Changed the whole look of the truck, even the guys at Discount Tire were diggin' em. Excellent grip, truck handles waaaaay better in the rain. A little kooky driving out of the store, got used to it quick. No ill-effect on the performance, no howling on freeway, no soft baloney feel like some of the reviews said.

Thought I would put up some pics of tires only, during my research I really couldn't find any close-ups of the tires, allot of pics of entire trucks with the duratracs, kinda hard to tell what you're seeing in allot of the pose shots.

No glamour shots, truck is dirty, tire pics though.

    Yeah, what he said.

    No lift, no rub.

Largest 17 that'll fit without spacers or cutting. Although there is a member on here who has 285s with no rub,
didn't want to chance it. I had 33" Toyo M/Ts on my 07 JK and had to run spacers, never was comfortable with them.

So far so good. I've been rockin around testing them, can't get them to break loose (semi-normal conditions). There were allot of not-so-good reviews I found, most were from people with full-size and over-sized trucks (F250s).

I've never bought a GoodYear tire in my life. I've had Nitto's, BFG M/Ts, Toyo M/Ts, Grabbers. I was also drawn to the aggressive look, I wanted a M/T but didn't want the weight and noise. The Toyo 33s I had were awesome, quietest M/T I've ever had, just way too heavy. They dogged my Jeep (the un-sprung weight) felt like I was always in mud. I'm sure the Duratracs are heavy (couldn't find the actual weight) gotta be lighter than Toto M/T 33s.

I'll put out an update after a few weeks and a little off-roading.
