    I need some pros and cons of shock relocations. The BAMF under bed shock, and the total chaos outside frame relocation. My truck is just a daily, I enjoy hauling some ass down dirt roads but some good flex would be nice. Anything would be nice, trying to score some Black Friday deals so I need to know what I should order for the rear. Sorry for the repeat questions but in a rush to catch the savings.

    No troubles. I am just running Dakars and sport Nitrocharger shocks in the rear. But enjoy reading other builds. I also helped a local guy that just did the BAMF relocation. He gets pretty good flex and it seems to go pretty good over the fire roads out here. I think if you went that route it would perform well if you get your shocks from DownSouth Motorsports and have Micah valve them for you. Biggest thing I can suggest is that either way you go just make sure you break down the leaf pack and cycle it again and again.

    You want to disassemble to the leaf pack so that it is just the main leaf installed. Let it droop all the way then you will want to compress it to go flat. This way you can determine shock length, placement and also bump stop.

    Just FYI I'm pretty sure the BAMF kit only works with higher end suspension. As in OME and bilsteins won't work. The eyelets ( I think that's what they are, hole where bolt goes through) is different

    So if you were to do something similar to the bamf thing can you still fit a spare under the bed or are you out of luck?

    I like the app Back Country Navigator Pro for my phone. I found it to better than any of the previous hand held I've owned.

    I recently installed an upper crossmember w new shock mounts similar to what the BAMF offers and I can not fit my spare tire under there anymore. That is to say, I can't use the stock spare location, but I think I could relocate the hanger to make it work if I really wanted. The spare is in the bed for now.
