different problems that are related to your car or truck, that toyota has a fix to, that is really mostly privvy to a dealership, incase complaints are made by customers...the dealership will go by the tsb and fix what needs done. for the most part anyway.

If you have less than 36k miles, search for "leaf spring tsb", print it out when you find the actual Toyota document, and get it done. I hate not having it because my 3-leaf springs absolutely suck, but I'm above 36k and out of luck.

A TSB can refer to a repair or an upgrade that will make the truck "better". It's not a recall, but something that most likely should be done. A lot, if not all, of the time the work will be covered by the warranty, if you still have it. On the flip side, you almost have to prove to the dealer that you need a certain TSB completed-- it depends on the place.

tsb...technical or Toyota service bulletin. As far as I know they're a service bulletin update the Toyota mechanics go by for fixing recurring issues that have been documented that are not safety related like when a recall is issued.

See that is one of the problems with TSB's you can only get it under the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty which is BS since Toyota has been using known weak springs for longer then that trying to keep the soccer Moms from complaining about buying a truck and then having it ride like a truck

Glad I found this explanation. Wish I could get my crappy, ~straight leaf pack replaced for free.
