Ok help me out guys. I know there have been several posts on this subject but it seems like some of them have contradicting info. I have a 2007 that does not have fogs however it appears to be prewired for them (found the pigtails up on the rebar). Im sure Im oversimplifying this but from what I gather I just need.

2 OEM Fogs (or am comperables that fit the fog holes in the front cover)
    relay for the fuse block
oem switch for the dash (plug for the switch is already inside the dash?)

    Will that get me fogs?
    Can anyone post a DIY/Tutorial?
Do I need any additional parts?

You have the items down correct. It is really plug-n-play. Just pull the tape off the existing pre-wired bundle on the passenger and driver side of the radiator for each fog light connection.

If you have a 4.0L you are prewired.

Ok here we go. I have pics. Lead me in the right direction taco guys. I think I have this down just need some clarification. I appreciate you guys being patient with me. So these orange clips under the fender are going to plug into the fogs. Which slot is for the fog switch? (84160-04010 Fog Lamp Switch $34.75) 1,2,3,4,5,6 ??? I marked them. And then does the relay (90080-87010 Relay $16.81) just plug into the box here in one of the empties? which one?

Here is a helpful link. I have wired OEM lights for my 5 lug a few nights ago.
I don't know how the pre-wired Tacomas are setup. But I can help in whatever way I can.

Do you have an idea where to run the wires for the switch from the relay?

Number 1 slot is your Foglight slot. Once you pull the slot you'll see the wires to plug into the switch. I tried asking for clarity on the relay under the dash in the past with no luck. I have a Base 4X4 DC and am prewired also. My OEM switch is wired up but my lights are ran independantly with a hidden cheapo switch (like any aftermarket lights); until I can get the relay ordered and find the place to plug the badboy in.

Ok, So I did some investigating myself. If you are prewired Im not even sure you need the relay or fuse at all because they are already there. Since there was nothing fog related in the dash mounted fuse block I checked the apron mounted fuse block. Well the diagram for this one shows a spot for a fog relay and a fog fuse. Guess what? My box already has a fuse and relay in the fog locations. I think I will just be able to plug the fogs and the switch and be good. Any know any different. I posted pics of my fuse block and diagram.

Like I said, you might want to check. You may not even need the fuse. Im gonna get the lamps and switch and see if that works.
