I use to see those a lot downrange. The PX/BX/MCX had the ones with the side zip but they were only approved for wear by the Air Force. Most all the guys loved them for the light weight.

These boots are very lightweight and like mentioned fit like a running shoe and very comfortable . They're more comfortable to the jungle boots I wore while on active duty back in the day

Boots did someone say boots?! I am a boot whore and have been my whole life :anonymous:

But my flat feet finally caught up with me. If it wasn't for the end of Vietnam would never have gotten in the Navy. Even foot doctors say damn you have some flat feet. I now need the ankle support and the stabilization plus room for the orthotics that Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine came up for me. I wear boots where others would wear dress shoes for the support. And of course boots where boots are needed.

And some might say too many others. And a large number which wore out after just a couple of years and ended up in the shitcan.

Well I started cleaning out the freezers and organizing. Came across these, was wondering where my wife hid them.

Nice collection indeed but my feet, knees and back ache at the sight of those flat sole shoes.
I finally sold my Lucese elephant hide boots that were brand new. Can't wear them.

I just got home from Home Depot... Wife said, the kitchen faucet has a leak. And somehow a replacement faucet turned into:
    1. Granite counter and island tops
    2. Replacement sink
    3. New cooktop
    4. New double wall oven
    Howinthehell does something like this
    [IMG]

End up costing me twelve grand?
