    The first family Holiday has come and gone. So very strange! We managed to stick with our plan and got to Aurora, CO to spend Turkey day with my second cousins. They are the happiest, prettiest family on the planet! It was the best place for us. Sure it was different, and to a degree sad. I looked around the table and thought sometimes we just have to be thankful for what we have, or what we have left. For me, it's just too much to focus on the loss itself.

    We're at 5 weeks since we said goodbye. I had some ideas and plans for the future prior to, but so much just can't be done for many reasons. I've been adjusting my future plans, and flat out changing them on an every other day or so frequency. I've given much thought to departing AZ as my daughters moving to Missouri, and all my family and friends are in VA\NY. But you know, I've just never enjoyed the outdoors like I've been able to here and I've never been able to use my truck off road as often as I do here, so I'm sticking with AZ. Besides, I have AZTW peeps, and after only a year, feel very much "AT HOME" here.

    Shit man, buy them and lets hang em!

    Ryan, I am in. I have definitely gotten the bug to do more. I have no XMAS plans so we can talk when I get back and figure something out. I should be back somewhere around the 1st or so.

    I haven't heard the new date yet. It was supposed to be the 18th, but I let him know a couple weeks back that I wouldn't e back till the 1st-ish. He said to let him know when I'm SURE and we'll figure it out. I'll Email him in the next couple days from MOAB once I know we're heading south and can nail the arrival date.

    I'm hoping to push it to the new year as my Sand Rail isn't even wired up and it needs to be my daily driver for the 6 weeks the Taco is in the shop.

    You're right about the "forever" thing, and when I really look at life, there's not enough to pull me away!

    MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.

    Standing in line definitely paid off on base.

    Opens at 4, got there at 2. About 75-100 people ahead of us. Everyone is super civil and chill because it's in on base. Right when we got here, they opened up the food court area and everyone just came inside & put their carts in line in the area and hang out where it's warm. They opened up the Starbucks and breakfast places inside to buy coffee from. About 3:30 AM, they came down the line and gave out tickets per person for a doorbuster. Got the MacBook & a second one for my wife's friend.
