Ordered sliders for my 17 taco yesterday! Are they done yet? I'll be patiently waiting for them to be built and shipped. Hope the 6+ weeks goes faster than I expect it will. If I get them before Jan 14 and have time to paint and install I'll be putting them to use that weekend! I expect to be impressed by the design and build quality :curls: I've seen from pics of @Mobtown Offroad products. I couldn't even consider any other bolt on sliders after researching and finding these.

Unfortunately no. Reason is we don't have in house capabilities to cut and form steel so we subcontract it all. To get our cost low enough to make since for margins we order large quantities at once. The only difference between the gens is that cutout. So we just have it across the board and the second gen guys don't use it.

Oh yeah, this. Plates light enough, didn't think the added cost to add the cut out made any sense.

So ONE more stupid question for MobTown.

How much does a pallet of sliders weigh? Can one guy load them into a pickup or do I need to Shanghai a buddy?

I do it alone all the time but then again, I'm strong AF! Haha

I call the shop the Mobtown gym. Humping 150lb 24' long sticks of steel onto the saw and throwing 120+ lb bumpers around by hand all day keeps you in shape.

You can pick up one end of the pallet, set it on the tailgate and then pick up the other end and slide it in. A pallet of sliders is less than 200lbs.

Yeah, it did look like you were over "developed" at the Takeover.
I thought it was due to PED's
