Evertime I see off road meet I check the thread and its always in cali. Ya to go to pa your gonna need all 3 I was out there last aug and was glad I had my sliders. Wharton was ok but it was all sand and water no rocks or climbs but it was cool just to get in the woods. You just have to be real careful with the water 2 guys sunk there truck when I was out there.

For what it's worth, I'd guarantee that my guy wouldn't be able to beat that price. I've never found better quality than what Bob turns out but you get what you pay for.

A few people showed interest in sliders. If the 4x innovations stuff doesn't work out, and folks are still interested, I'll talk to my guy and see if he'd like to take on the job. I'd expect price to come in around $500 or so depending on material used (chromoly vs. mild steel) but don't quote me on that.

Design would probably be close to the Shrockworks design since we already have on my truck that as a template. Changes could obviously be made but we'd need to agree on a single design for everyone. It's the ability to churn out a batch of identical pieces that'll keep build time and costs down.

Measurements from my truck will cover the Access Cabs. If these are needed for other models we'd need at least 1 of each for taking measurements and test fit.

I like the idea of a mod day. I'll sit around and eat pizza most of the time but will chime in when needed. ;)

I agree with having one design to keep the price down. I will check out the shrockwork sliders. I am ok with anything as long as they are quality. BTW the next day after I went back to work I had the guys take off the mudflaps..... lol. Lets just figure something out I def need sliders and I might order a yellowtop battery and a scangauge. I will have to figure it out when ever we do one.

The Shrockworks bolt-ons are incredibly solid. I've had my truck jacked up for 2 solid weeks on the hi-lift by the sliders with zero issues. They're about as bulletproof as you'll find.

Turn around times at Shrockworks is definitely on the slow side, but it's worth the wait.

I will check out shrockworks, I know I need them. There is a long list of things to get to make the truck more offroadable.

Just ordered my Goodyear duratracs today. 285/75 r16, got em for $179 each.:D

I work shift work so i'll check my schedule when i go into work tonight, i think i might be off those days in february or just getting off midnights in the morning.

The tires should be here tomorrow, so hopefully with in a week or so i can find time to install the lift, mount/balance tires, and get it aligned. I think i'd also want sliders before i head out to PA as well.

All in all it was a good day, ordered tires and finally got paid from some scumbag on fleabay.:quickdraw:

I would have to check out those tires thats a good price. If you have the lift and we do a meet in Orange County my guys can do the lift... so that would work out.

I like the shrock work sliders, they look good. The price is a bit high especially if there is a long wait. I will have to figure something out.
