Yes sir, except mine is never done modding, ever... haha. but I reach goals you could say. But ya, it's a stressful and shitty time. You are on the home stretch. Mine goes back to the shop next week to fix final issues I identified after getting it back. Hopefully after that I can be done!

I need to replace my clutch. Does anyone have a tranny jack they'd be willing to lend me for a few days? I'm in Los Lunas and will drive to Alb to pick up.

No tranny jack here, but I do have 1 small & 1 normal-sized floor jacks. You're welcome to borrow either. Tranny jack would work better, though.

THanks for the offer. If needed I may take you up. I just have one floor jack but I've read two make it easier. I may need to get my brother out to help me. He benches like 400

wish I still had mine but it sat for 2 years collecting dust after the last clutch job. A tranny jack will makes things much easier due to the tilt capability but can be done with a floor jack. To make it easier with a floor jack and if you know someone with a welder, *ah-@MojaveMadman-em*, a platform welded to the floor jack lift saddle does wonders.

If anything, pick up a tranny jack from Harbor Freight and return it when done.

I have a mig welder. I'm somewhat new to using it as I'm just self taught but I'd be willing to try something like that out. Are you thinking a fabbed up platform or something bought and modded?

Most guys I've seen do it use some angle iron to make a cradle or some 3/16 plate for a bigger platform to make balancing the transmission easier. A motorcycle jack can work too but may not be tall enough. SGTaco used his with a couple phonebooks. It all comes down to balancing it and making sure it stays balanced when you move it. Not the hardest thing to do if you're careful but having it drop off the jack sucks. I've done a clutch job before with a regular floor jack. Everything went fine but it took quite a bit of finesse to ensure the input shaft was lined up when reinstalling the transmission.

THanks for the tip. I think I have some left over angle iron laying around the garage...maybe i'll try messing around with it this weekend. I'd like to try to work on this this Wednesday next week since I have no work that day. It'd be ideal if I can get it all done in one long day.

So sitting here drinking beer getting a buzz on and have found the commercials I really hate.

    1) Effiing Bar and Grill "Recorded in front of live audience" - It had so much potential to be a good commercial but the continuous laughter and the lady keep saying "okay" is too much

    2) Nice cars for nice people "sign and drive" - How many times can this little girl say sign and drive!?

    3) Pizza 9 "inspirational commercial" - I don't even know where to start, pizza is not supposed to be inspirational

    y'all agree?

Lol. Sign and drive is definitely some bull shit. I have hard time watching commercials in general but that one is definitely annoying AF

Edit: Ugh.... wasted my 1000th post on sign and drive.

    Fuck

I haven't had a TV at my house for over 5 years and don't miss it. The commercials drive me crazy.

I do have a synth or two, though...

I dropped my truck off at the body shop Monday; man I am missing my lil' truck! :\ I hope to get it back either by the end of next week or the first week of December.

Where the heck did this year go? Seems like it was spring just the other day. I heard someone on the Miata forum say that life is like a roll of toilet paper; the closer to the end you get, the faster it runs out. I'm on the small-roll-end of life, I guess, at 58. :turtleride::turtleride::turtleride:

When I watch tv it is usually Netflix but I do enjoy watching COPS Reloaded :fenforcer:after work and since that is on a local channel I get all the stupid local commercials with it.

Hope all goes well with your truck Greg! It is crazy how fast the year went by. Was looking for Christmas gifts online and it felt like I was just doing that, but it's already been a year!
