    sucks for that guy

however i def wasnt being a dick and just trying to get home like everyone else...tried to find a way out...but alas...nowhere to go but into the back end of an 80something Nissan Z...and i definately had my seatbelt on

his bumper had a minor dent and some cracked paint...i turned my bumper into fiberglass shards, broke a headlight, pushed the hood up a smidge, and adjusted a fender...oh and deployed my drivers airbag which actually rips itself thru a crown vic steering wheel

and i gave the guy a good laugh...seeing as how he got rear ended by a cop

he was surprisingly not mad or upset...which made life so much easier...since well...about 10 other officers from my dept showed up along with 2 highway patrolmen...

i apparently worried everyone because i was signed into one channel so i could drive home...and called in the collision as such...then when i got out i had to get on my walkie talkie and call my supervisor who was on another channel...apparently i forgot to tell the dispatcher i was ok...when i didnt answer the call back they sent everyone in the region out after me

    whoops!

I started my hood scoop project...I want to put a "bulge" (as Toyota calls it) on my '04 hood. Found a wrecked 4Runner, got the hood for free, cut out the scoop and braces underneath, now I'm reworking the metal. Next I'll graft it on a stock hood. Still haven't decided whether to use MY hood or get a donor...thinking it may take a while...

Well after almost trading my '04 in on a '08, then buying a SkyJacker lift only to return it because I didn't like the quality, I finally bit the bullet and lifted it using ICON coilovers and ICON add-three-pack-leaf tonight. Easy install, one hour for the front and two for the rear. Here's some pics, sorry, poor, it's nighttime...
