Oh yea, the use of chain saw to clear 20 inch diameter trees be no problem.

We off-road far enough to see 30 to 50 inch diameter or even larger fallen trees that even a 26 inch blade won't cut through and there's no way of going around it and no option to reverse.

What suit you best. Mall crawling to driving dirt road to rock crawling. Your truck, your choice. What ever your budget fit. Got to love those shiny show truck.

I had a front and still have a rear winch. All the guys in my group have at least one front winch, hi lift and some sort of recovery equipment. We usually wheel with 6 or more very capable rig and never once had to rely on another group of rig coming down the trail for recovery. But we'd done the opposite, help recover jeeps, yota, and crawl rigs that just don't have recovery tools that wish upon another group to get them out.

It's not how much you make but how you use it.... the more you make, the more you tend to use... Never put all you money in one basket... most of us here didn't wake up one day and see money growing on tree :D

I did all the welding on my truck and boy was that hard work. endless nights of welding, cutting, and grinding. gearing is another thing I am going to doing hopefully soon, but I'm not sure I am mentally ready for it either.

Dreams and doing it are two different things. I can't even begin to imagine how to do a d60 or diamond sa on the driveway floor by myself with a sub par jack I've owned for 15 years.

I tend to imagine what the cost would be if I bought everything and have it put on and drive it home in a minutes...

Oh well, guess that's what keeps us going right ? how would we be with a bullet proof fully built rig that never needs maintenance ?

Yesterday's fun at the dunes. Great experience for my brother to learn off-road driving. Not much learning since he has 4wd and the e-locker. We damn drove out of soft, loose sand that we thought got us.

Sas that capable of doing 75+mph are leaf springs lift, most 3-4 links won't hold the roads that well if you going that fast
Edit: you don't see much of 3-4 links on freeway cuzz they don't hold the road as good as leaf spring truck with high speed
