They do throw a lot of light. I use them when I drive deserted backroads on the way to work at 5 in the morning.
I wasn't happy with the original non-adjustable pod brackets on the Taco, so I ordered the 2nd version with ample room for adjustment.
Put them in yesterday but I haven't adjusted them yet.

 

Mine are just in the lower grill of the FJ, so pretty easy to adjust. I just need to actually do it. My driveway/garage arrangement isn't conducive to facing the garage door to see where they're aimed

 

I've never been through one. I hear CT does them a lot. Never seen Mass or RI do one.

 

I've seen them after concerts, but that's it

Any recommendation for a good shop near-ish Salem, NH that would do a lift install/alignment for a reasonable price? I have all the parts, just don't have the time or resources to do it on my own, and it's my daily driver. My stock suspension is getting really bad, so it's time to bite the bullet and just pay a pro to put it all together.

 

CT does them all the time. In fact, never leave the casinos after New Year's Eve without expecting one.

Or, I should probably get someone's number to avoid that situation.

 

This place is supposedly quite good. It's about 45 minutes from Gillette since it's downt he street from me and that's about how long it takes me to get there. I guess the owners grew up next to the wife's family's beach house.

Yeah a little over an hour from mine too. It'll be worth it for Mexican food. I'm getting tired of leftovers.

I've got plans tomorrow, so tonight is the best I can do.

If you don't want to drive and don't want a lift there then we could find a closer place. There's a good Mexican place around here with amazing drinks.
