How hard is it to remove the letters on the TRD Pro grill to paint them? I'd like to paint mine white.

Park the truck facing the sun for a bit so they get a little warm, then you can just pull them off with a little force.

Thanks, I pulled one off earlier and my dip them tomorrow.

For anyone else who is curious, these letter are basically held on with adhesive, like the badges on the Tacoma.

It's very easy to pop the letters off...use a hair dryer and heat the letters up a little bit and then on the back side of the letters push on the little "prong" parts of the letters and they should pop right off... That's how I got mine off.

That's how the truck should have come from the factory.

A lot of people in the states also seem to be ordering from Canada. Up here it is $400 CND from any dealership (at least the ones I've seen in BC)

so nice. definitly the best looking grille out there. Best part is doesn't have the "sunk-in"
look the stock and pretty much ever other after market grille has.

The Pro grill is very nice, I just can't see paying that much for a piece of plastic. Toyota is making a killing on these grills.

This. I LOVE the grill, but I just can't justify ~$400 for a couple of bucks worth of mass produced, molded plastic. The price is asinine.
