    Finally, September 9th 2016
I get the truck. Long story short the dealership sucked and it had a few things to fix but took forever. 3rd gear synchro grinded. They claimed they fixed it.... I just wanted the truck at that point. Waiting almost a month to get it.
I had already ordered a new headlight and painted the grille the day I got it.

Take it to Toyota. Needs a new clutch, fully rebuilt trans, resurfaced flywheel etc.
    $3,900 later....
oh also had Toyota put an Add a leaf that I had ordered a while ago on.

December 5th or so I finally get it back from Toyota and man does it drive nice.

My suggestion would be to start new threads for every question you have... And tag jberry in each...

No problem I would also just say take it slow, DO NOT RUSH INTO ANYTHING. Take lots of time to research and figure it all out before you go out dropping G's. Talk to some people on here, go to some meets to look at some LT trucks and learn the stories, problems, and recommendations they may have. Speaking from experience, just take it slow and you'll end up happy.

Yes, hence the "speaking from experience" part. I went out and wanted long travel so bad that I bought a used Engage 6 over kit with the racing spindles. Its done me good until now, but never would I recommend engage. I took the wrong route and my progression with the truck as far as my dreams are being put on hold from shit breaking. And it's always stuff that I have put on. And since I've gotten the kit and gotten to know some of these LT legends I've learned a lot and wish I would have talked to them and learned more before pulling the trigger. It's hard to wait, but worth it in the end when you can actually use your LT for what it's made for haha.

Yeah, Always wanted a LT taco! I was going to jump the gun and just buy it all. But hearing from you guys on here it sounds like I should wait and really find the best , and affordable route.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
This is gonna be good. sub'd for the badthread.

Yes you'll run into some assholes on here although I haven't really been seeing many at all since it's been 3 years since I've been on here, but beside the few of those that are gone now, this is an awesome community of guys that are always willing to help. Where are you located?

I am located in NorCal, Sacramento area. Yeah I have talked to a bunch of nice people on here. I was originally going to go with mid travel just because I didn't want to fork out all the money but I truly want the LT. I wouldn't be happy if I went with mid travel.

I'm sure you've heard it from others if you've read a lot of old threads or if you've asked around in other threads, but the rear setup on your truck will be the determining factor in how well it handles on uneven terrain like whoops. It's also more expensive than the front so that should be a big part of your planning.
