Here is a sneak peek at the new 3rd gen high clearance rear bumper @CBI Offroad Fab is making for me. I already had some trail damage to the quarter panel so cutting it off was a no brainer. They still have some work to do but it is looking great! Nathan and Kenny have been great to work with too.

Thanks! I'm super excited to get it back. I'm having them install some sliders while it's there also. Figured it will be an early Christmas present. @CBI Offroad Fab shop and show room are damn nice. It would be easy to buy way too much stuff there if you are not careful.

I'll ask Nathan the weight when I pick it up. you are correct that the swing out will be similar to past offerings but Nathan did say there were a few refinements to the swing out and the drop down table is now aluminum instead of dimple died steel.

I am having them relocate the back up camera so I will post some details on where that is.

Does anyone who has a high clearance bumper know how the hidden reciever works? I assume the pin for the hitch must go in behind the bumper. is that a correct assumption?

I picked up my truck yesterday. @0uTkAsT CBI said that the base bumper is around 125 and the swing arm is around 75. those weights are appriximate. Here are some highlight photos. I could not be happier.

A few more. These show the hilift mount which I will probably remove as I like my highlift mount in the bed. The locking mechanism. The fold down table. The hinge mechanism which is super beefy. The attachments to the frame.

Here is one more showing the bumper itself. they did a great job relocating the licence plate light and the trailer plug.20161126_100936.jpg

Wow that does look good. CBI really does some excellent work, I have their sliders on both of my trucks. The bumper might be an addition.

I have the tow package on my off road. Does adding this bumper and removing the factory tow package affect how much you can tow? Pros and cons?

Yes it removes the tow package. It is replaced with a hidden reciever behind the license plate. I belive CBI does not give an official weight rating. However I have no doubt this reciever is as strong or stronger than the factory one. I'll post a pic later.
