New raid holds many more challenges and the rewards are good.

Way better than KF, thats for sure.

 

Don't recall the classes being nerfed. If so that sux even more. My reference was to the weapons like the Vision of Conflux, Thorn, Gjallarhorn, ect... I had the Gjallarhorn 2 or 3 weeks after the game came out, it was my first exotic and the Vision of Conflux was my first reward for finishing the Vault of Glass 2 weeks after the first completion. It felt good to walk around with it and destroy in PVP with it. Now most Raid weapons are trash or very close to it. Wish the game would go back to what it was in year one before all the nerfs. Back when the loot cave was around and you could sit around and shoot some Hive with your buddies,...almost felt like a vitual shooting range. Oh well, those where good times. Now I am stuck in Battlefield 1 and trying to make time for Titanfall 2.

 

I don't recall VoC being nerfed. Hell I still take it into regular crucible and play around with it. The only weapons from year one that were nerfed (and needed to be) was the Vex and Thorn. I had the Vex before the nerf and it would just melt fucker in crucible. It was fun but I understand it was way overpowered. You mention raid weapons as though they are supposed to be god like in crucible? Sure some of them are okay in crucible but most of them are very specific for whatever raid is out at the moment. Same thing with armor. So I personally have no issue with that since I treat PvP and PvE as two separate games. I have a PvP set up for trials and a PvE set up for the latest raid. The only truly overpowered weapons at the moment are shotguns. But even then they aren't that OP if you know how to counter them. PvP is about as balanced as I've seen it throughout the life of the game. Sure there are some tweaks they could make here or there but nothing too bad.

And sitting around shooting at a loot cave? Nothing about that sounds fun. It wasn't fun when I did it. I'm glad they did away with it.

 

I do agree Titanfall 2 is a lot of fun and has been a welcome distraction.

 

Ive got the sunbreaker and defender Titan builds set as a macro on ishtar commander app. Its great to just hit a button and poof, its set up the way I like it.
Both Discipline and intelligence at 300. Now i just need an arc Armenmatarium and ill be set on the 3 crucible builds.

 

I don't know why I said vision of confluence I meant to say the Vex Mythoclast. Shows how long I been away from the game lol. I don't think the weapons should be god like, but when you work so hard to get something coveted like the Vex it is nice to have something a little more powered not in the crucible, but in the Iron Banner. Where the idea is "run what you brung". As for the loot cave I guess it's a personal opinion. I had fun taking out new guns and playing with them and trying to do trick shots with my friends.

 

Well there are god roll weapons for IB. Most recently its the Clever Dragon but there are more depending on how you play.

Pistoles are pretty popular these days also.

The winged word is a Trials sniper that is rare and sought-after

Haha.... Played Trials today and beat a team so bad that one player quit on the last round. Think it pissed this dude off badly enough he had to message me. I had to fuck with him a little. He got off right after this lol.

 

No one has felt the need to message me, im kinda surprised cause I have came out of situations on top that even Im not sure how i made it out.

Those situations typically receive a teabag from me. So its just fuel on the fire.

 

That is honestly the first hate mail I've gotten in game. I'm usually really cool about the matches and almost always send a GG message. But this guy was smoking after we destroyed them so I had to have a little fun with him lol.

 

My 1st trials passage wasnt too bad. Definitely on a map I dislike. Played with 2 guys ive never played PvP with before and he was on a hunter that he hadnt played in months. So i think if he had been on his WL, it would've been different.

4 wins, 3 losses. So very close to that 5th win.



Overall its a different mindset. They were impressed with me cause I did go clutch a few times. Once it was 1v3 and I came out on top. I giggled like a schoolgirl for atleast 3 min after.

Ill wait until next week to play trials again.

 

Get any good drops? I ended up with another chest piece that is exactly like the other 4 that I've got and a RL after the 7th round. Admitally that is not my favorite map but I will say that we didn't run into very many red bars yesterday so I can't complain about that. We were put out by a team of Titans and they were just damn good. Sent them a GG after the match and they were really cool. We came close but they were just better and had their shit together.

 

A winged sun plate chest piece that looks cool, has good stats for a solar build. Unfortunately, Armenmatarium is my go to piece and I doubt that changes. Ive become rather used to 2/25 second lightning nades.

Im thinking im going to take a break from destiny..
. Im so close to finishing the book but ive done just about everything. I don't think ToO is enough to keep me. Too stressful on me cause i dont want to fail my team.

Perhaps a Deus Ex break is needed.

Put up a search on .io fir a 395+ WL for trails this weekend. Hopefully its a decent map and we can do 5 cards from Friday-Monday.

Tonight will be practice skirmish perhaps some FFA custom to get a feel for another. See how we mesh.

Farmed another GoM last night. This one has 100% reload. Im curious how it will play PvP.

 

We've been running the raid each week with Challenge Mode and trials. Other than that I've run out things to do in Destiny. No use in the Forge or any strikes as I have every piece of armor / weapons in the game. I'll still help others through the raid when needed but other than that there really isn't much to do.

Titanfall 2 has taken up some time now since the multiplayer is so much fun. Kind of curious how Destiny is going to fill the time between now and when Destiny 2 launches.

Yea, well Bungie says they arent done. So im curious what's getting added on the servers today.

 

Yeah me too. SRL is coming and I kind of enjoyed that last year even though there were only two maps. The rewards were pretty good but if you're 400 the rewards aren't going to matter too much.
