If it were my money, I'd just stick with the tires that you have. It's going to cost you more to get some new 265/75s and get them mounted and balanced. Totally you're call in the end though.

Your driving yourself crazy over this is driving me crazy. You have 2 options.

    1. Big tires. Gain offroad performance. Lose mpg/power. Trim/beat or rub.

    2. Small tires. Lose some offroad performance. Gain mpg/power. Don't rub.

    Which sounds better?

    Go with that.

@rngr Couldn't have said it any better. That's honestly the best way to look at it.

That being said, you can make up some off road performance with tire choose, and vise-versa.

Im liking option 2... Or do i like option 1..... Ahhhhh... Just kidding but thats pretty much how i feel right now although I'm leaning towards the 265/75s with stock rims. But on that note, im guessing the it wouldnt take too too long to sell a set of nearly brand new 33x12.50x15 KO2s and some standard 15x8 pro comp steelies with 3.75 backspacing

And whats good tire choice for 265s cause all i ever hear about is the bfg ats but I'm sure there are other good ones out there. My friend has an older jeep and he runs 31x10.50x15 kelly safaris and he really likes em.

I ran the Rubicon with two guys who were running the new BFG ATs. They really liked them. BFG ATs have always been a solid choice though.

I'll probably end up getting another set of them but i would probably have to go through 4wp again since they have the best deals compared to the places around me

Thanks, I had the Nikon on a Marlin 30-30 but decided to hunt open sights with it so I only had to pay for the mount with that set up.
The holosun I was able to get on sale for ~$175, I didn't really want to spend the money but I let a local police officer (who's on my trust) borrow the SBR (when there were so many threats of riots and ambushes on police) and all it had on it was a cheap Chinese red dot and I didn't really want her to trust her life to a $15 red dot.
I do have to say I think it is worth the money.

The absolute most I have spent on an optic was for my .308, I got a vortex HS-T 4-16-44 and it cost more than the rifle did (I bought the rifle used) and I'll probably end up swapping it over eventually when I build a 6.5 creedmor long range rifle.
It still hurts to think how much I paid for that scope even though it was on sale when I bought it, but I know that the vortex warranty will cover anything that happens to it.

I've used Craigslist when I sold my stock wheels, but you could try the Buy/Sell/Trade section of TW. They have a dedicated tires and wheels thread you could post in. Just make sure you read the rules of posting.

I read them a few days ago. How long does it usually take to sell a set of tires that are fairly new. Ive never done it before and it would be nice to be somewhat financially prepared

Varies. You could have someone hit you up in a coupe hours of your posting or it could take weeks. I sold my stock wheels in a few days, while I've seen stuff up for sale that was posted months ago. Tires should go quickly.
