Orange County CAF's: up to no good

Saw that Vegas bs.

 

My route to and from KOH/Johnson Valley is the 10. I would have avoided the 15 south at all cost this late in the Vegas TG weekend.

 

Yeah it was the same time going either way for me.

 

I'm glad you all made it back alright from JV. The rain was relentless after it started.

I'll definitely try to make it to the next outing, but I promise I'll make less of a spectacular entrance next time.

 

One thing I learned going to the east Mojave entrance was the east is longer than the 15 but more beautiful than the 15. The route to KOH is east on the 10. My only way.

 

Crash at the cajon pass so that backed up traffic, plus drivers who don't know how to drive in the rain

A guy from that campground came over, asked if we were friends with the guy who's truck rolled, then handed us some simple wiring dohicky that he thinks cam from your truck

Pooing in a self made hole and showering in blistering cold water is what's up.

 

It is a switch with a lead on it. It's in my cab. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow.

 

Nothing like being stone cold naked by yourself in the middle of nowhere screaming as loud as i can while washing.

I did the same twice. Once when you did Mengal at night, and second when I showered in front of the Burros on the other side if the ridge.

Night weather was piercing. Took me back to my Navy days in the northern pacific. As I told all of you: once that ice cold shower is over you feel ALIVE! And then you go to bed. A different kind of military cold weather training. Training I didn't want to do again so Sara and I slept in the truck. Haha
