I actually had them from a ford truck that I had. Just decided to repurpose them.

As far as actual modding....you have to widen that slot where the coin holder was and do a little massaging to get it to fit solidly. That piece is $40 so I figure if i dorked it up, it wouldn't be that hard (or expensive) to replace it.

This post that I made gives you an idea of what work was involved. You also need the ford wiring harness:

I got rims like this off eBay. OEM Toyota with 1 year warranty..$763 shipped for 4 rims 17x7. Best deal I could find..and they are so worth it. Compliments galore on this setup..and mountain approved..IMG_6395.jpg

I just got the same wheels two weeks ago.

Just wanted to post this info. for anyone else looking at these, since they are a popular wheel.
I contacted the OP of the below thread, asked him for the contact info. of the person/dealer he used to get his set. He was kind enough to share with me, called and got the same wheels for $680 shipped.

I agree. I think people are trying to convince themselves that the 2017 trd pro tacoma wheels are nice just because they are "trd pro". Thats the only reason why I'm keeping them.

Damn it! Now I feel taken..haha. At 190 a rim I'm still way happy but $680 woulda been even better. Good find, and I'm sure other Tacoma world members will score on this deal!

Do you get Howard Stern for that price? I keep ignoring them and getting renewal offers for $25 for five months.

However Stern is the only reason I'm gonna renew! I've heard 4.99 a month for a year contract
