lots to list, i will get back to this one..
Allright so the airbag light came on in my 2006 tacoma. I checked some stuff out that i heard were common problems. No loose connectors under the seat, and my horn/cruise control still work. I think its something with the passenger side because it always says the passenger side airbag is off, and the seatbelt light over there is not working either......
    Any ideas?

Could be the sensor in the seat that's bad.

I checked the cruise and all that so I dont know if its the clock spring... I tried to check most connectors under the seats, and this just happened randomly during a drive. I really am thinking its the weight sensor in the passenger seat. I just wish there was a way to isolate and prove it is the problem.

There is. Take it to a shop and have the code scanned. Doesn't have to be the dealer, any independent shop with a scanner will do.

If you want to try it yourself, get access to the Toyota Factory Service Manual for your truck. Jumping two connectors on the OBD will cause the light to blink in sequence communicating the code number. Look up the code number in the chart and you are done.

autozone might not have that scanner either. I went to advance and they didnt have it for my ABS light. Had to go to the dealer to have them pull it.

You don't use a scanner to pull the code. You have to connect two terminals (I forgot which ones) of the OBD socket with a wire
