Broken record, we know your opinion, you don't need to post it over and over. I agree, however, I don't care.

I didn't order it. Went online, saw it, enter data but never pull the trigger. The promotion code "special15!" in the image clearly indicated in red letter: "Performance 15% off WEEK END Special!"

So if you do it in the week end then you have it. Else, smooth talk to them and you may get it.

And free Scoop come from AFEpower as in image.

AutoAnything had no problem at all giving the price discount, they did that no questions asked. AFEPower is NOT going to hand over a free scoop just because I bought the intake from AutoAnything though.

Just put a drop k € n air filter or TRD drop filter. It will give u some sound . Horsepower b******* is not behind it. They tell you yet more horsepower. You step on the pedal harder and burn up your money. If you really want horsepower. Go with the supercharger. It will cost a bunch of money. But you actually gain horsepower

There is no SC for the 3.5 yet, I'm not looking for a huge jump in HP. I'll gain a few, a little tq, a little sound, I'm ok with that.

K&N has their place, but that product is a waste of money.

Switching to a K&N filter system on US Army helicopters, made a HUGE difference in inlet flow and perfomamce.

Stick it on the silicone hose end of the throttle body for those track days! LOL.

Like aussiek said, most likely the fender inlet portion of the system. Can probably make some money on it and sell it to some ricer kid too if you don't use it. They'd be all over that.

Between the air box and the fender. goes into the fender hole and attaches to the air box.

Both me and my brother have K&N intakes and they make the same noise. I've been told it's totally normal.

On a K&N CAI , the location of the filter can be sealed better using thick foam over the sheet metal plate supplied with the kit . if the foam is correctly applied the hood will completely seal off that area when it is closed

Also wrapping the intake tube with a 4" heat resistant sleeve such as available from DEI will drop intake temps even more

Using foam such as this to seal off the K&N filter box so it only allows cold ambient outside air into the filter
