Mid travel overland-wheeler build with 35's and BS w/ SAS in the works

Torque sticks.....
Spacers and wheels are done with them. Never had an issue. And I verify that the sticks are giving proper torque every 6 months.

I agree to a point but I think the fact that spacers can get worked loose (even slightly) can cause more issues than wheel with less backspacing. Yes, I know people say if you torque the spacers correctly with loctite they don't move, but my personal experience was otherwise. I had to constantly check them to make sure they were tight and got all sorts of vibes, and balancing issues. Haven't had a single issue with 3.5BS wheels.

 

What brand of spacers did you have? And what size?

Wow, I was hoping you'd say some off brand... I didn't have that when I ran spidertrax. Thats too bad

 

Stick a screwdriver between the caliper bracket and caliper going into the rotor slots and that's way easier and won't fall out

 

Put the truck in 4wd, set the parking brake and put in 1st. Manual transmission perk.
