I totally agree. Only downside so far is that even with the window down, it stinks inside my truck from the glue/adhesive or whatever it was they used.

Wow, only $185?! I'll have to look into USA Auto Glass. I have a good size crack in the windshield, but I've been lagging on getting it replaced due to the cost, but $185 OTD is very reasonable. Thanks for the info, Al! Btw, the truck is looking good.

Haha. Thank you! I know its not exactly a mod, but if this information helps out another TW member then its well worth it IMO. Good luck man. BTW, Jason from USA Auto also drives a Tacoma. So I gave him a TW card! Hope he joins.

    Dent Removal
I don't have a picture to show, but the proof "was" on the truck. I had 4 door dings on the door behind the driver and another quarter size dent behind the rear tire on the bed. In regards to the door dings, 2 of them were on the curved part of the door and all were taken out without a problem. My recommendation to anyone local is this business...

The price is reasonable and the service was great. Tony has a lot of years of experience. Check him out.

Check out the rest of my build on page 1. Thanks guys.

So in addition to the hose clamp for the tailgate...

I added a washer to each side of the tailgate to prevent the cables from being undone.
Undo the cable. Without a hose clamp or washer on the cable, someone can walk away with your tailgate in 10 seconds or less.
Find a T-30 tool and undo the bolt and simply add the washer and tighten. Remember the washer should fit over the lip on the inside of the bolt.
Now, a more secured tailgate. Finished product!

Right on man. I didn't know it was going to be this cheap. I had already spent $80 before filling up a rock chip and crack. Oh well... it does look sweet.

Thanks man. To be honest, I think I'll be searching for a black scoop at the junk yards. It came out ok but it doesn't have that factory finish OR I might just take it off and have it done professionally repainted. I don't know, but the concept is there.

    Thank you.

I think I may paint mine, going with a theme and trying to figure out if I want to but I'm leaning more towards doing it. You're in Chula Vista right?

I am. In the Otay Ranch part of Chula Vista near the Otay Ranch Shopping center where REI is at. Your truck is black right? Thinking of painting what part?

Can't wait to do the swap. Should be interesting to see that OD Green on that rig of yours.

:D you wish! At least I have the red lines on the tachometer. Haha. I'm loving it. Probably the best mod yet.

    Thank you.
We give another member Jeff (unholycumulus) props for the fog light mod. We saw him do it and frankly its easy to do. It took him all of 5 minutes. Perhaps I can take a picture and post what it looks like for you tomorrow. This mod allows me to use the high beams without the fog lights turning off. They turn off with the day time running lights too.
