I am going to need some details on how you mounted the awning off the back of the truck please if you can?

@zscott made some awning brackets that connect to the racks. Not sure if you saw those are not. If you did... sorry for the redundancy. :)

Have any of you installed PrinSu's crap rack on a 6 ft' topper with no pre-installed rails?

That is a xtra cab 1st gen.

It can be done but I don't recommend it. It won't line up with the rack on the cab and is irreversible. Install the tracks in case you want to remove the rack or sell the truck. People will buy a shell with tracks and no rack. They won't buy one with holes in the roof

My mistake thought it was a cap. Happy Thanksgiving! Once again great product.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Do most mount their cases with the hinges on the outside or inside?

    In my opinion:

Hinges out means a thief would have to stand in the bed (exposure) then climb on the roof (exposure) to open the case. The way I have it positioned would make it impossible to access the case without climbing on the roof of the truck. So for anyone trying to do a quick snag, it would be tough. I have the lock in the middle option, but you would still have climb on top of the truck with bolt cutters.
