    You should be able to get a hold of a VFW or Legion rep locally and perhaps have a lunch meeting with him/her..

    Yeah it has been a .. fuck it shitty ass day .. I tried to sleep in the bed last night and apparently ended up rolling on to my right side / shoulder have had a burning sensation above the shoulder joint all day . I hate the friggin narcs but finally took some and it is only taken the edge off the crap screws my sleep so it is likely to be a long night if I have to take more to just get the edge off it and be somewhat comfortable..I check my VA stuff and nope incoming is the normal amount they have had 45 damn days to do the temp increase my rep had best be at work tomorrow or I drive an hour north to the hospital and find someone to rake over the coals!!

    Yeah I have been sleeping on the couch back to the back pillow under the front part to keep the hand from dropping and pillow under the arm as the sling kept waking me up by choking my neck. I still was not sleeping more then a few hours at a time so I tried to sleep in the bed and tada this BS ::{

    can you sleep on your back? that's how it's worked for me but everybody is different. yes when you roll over on it it will deffinately let you know, and yes the pain pills only took the edge off. i can't tell you you'll have the same results but the tylenol pm's knocked me completely out in fact i had to cut back to 1 and they still left me in a fog the next day

    What jerks my chain the most is it seems as though the VA is selective to what they show as "success". Some poor Joe gets blown to bits and it almost appears as they use that service member as a poster child, pouring all their talent and hardware into him, publicizing those few cases in their propaganda machine while the vast majority of the rest are given some feel good drugs, a mediocre amount of disability and are in fucking pain forever and never fixing a damn thing. Everyone knows they're full of shit, even they know it, yet they try to pull off the facade that they are really doing anything they can...it's just a big bunch of bullshit.

    Welcome! :hattip:

    I've done this to mine. I took the bed cubby out and mounted it to the outside of it, so it is inside the bed wall when I put the cubby back in.
