    Even if it is going to be a "showpiece" for Toyota (and this thread is legitimate), why the hell would Toyota want it fixed up??? If it has 1 million miles, of course it is going to have some character! I would rather see some beater that has been through the wringer with 1 million miles than a pampered garage queen.

    Here we go everyone: I personally got sent a picture of his odometer by the OP. He wasn't kidding everybody! It says Toyota right there in big grey letters! It even has the signature TOYOTA™ emblem! (He apologized for the specs of dust on the cluster lens, he hasn't cleaned it in a while.)
