The tank needs to be sitting upright as in the rips in the back need to be facing up and down. The exact way it sits in the product photo on the website. As you use the tank the pressure slowly depleates. The tank is designed to mimic a bladder. It uses the built up air inside to force all the water out. As you use the system it slowly looses pressure as it forces the wateR out. One other thing is some customers take of the y-valve and thread on the quick connect, this will ruin how the system works. Without the y-balve the system will empty itself. It is also important to make sure the on/off valves are turned to the off position when it's not in use. If the tank is not sitting in the upright position, top cap facing toward the ceiling, you will only be able to get a 30-40 seconds of use! If the tank is sitting correctly you should get 1.5 minutes of pure spray on the shower settings. Again 3.3 gallons isn't large, the idea is to conserve as much as you can. I use mine mainly for surfing and it will last me 3-4 uses(10 seconds showers). Remember the most important part is that the tank needs to be sitting with the top cap towards the ceiling. If you try and use it with the back ribs on the ground it will not work correctly and you will only have 30-40 seconds of use!!

Looking forward to the email response about my missing sprayer nozzle and leaking y-splitter. Glad to see a vendor posting up responses!

Hey guys, if the tank doesn't work properly contact Adrian for a full refund in exchange for the tank. No partial refunds or anything special like that. Hopefully we can get everyone to be fully satisfied.

One thing, People who are getting 40 seconds, one solution I found is that some people are holding the regulator to the quick connect. Make sure you slide up the quick connect, attach regulator(make sure you hear a click, that means its secure and air tight). THE WATERPORT WILL EXPAND, DONT BE AFRAID I HAVE REGULATED IT MUCH LOWER THAN ITS CAPACITY. ITS NORMAL IF YOU SEE THE TANK EXPANDING. The regulator will automatically shut off the water to the tank once full.

Ok- whose starting the WaterPORT Creative mounting location thread?
I like the frame mount idea, up, in an under a c channel. Is there a way to extend the nozzle so I can lash it to the high side of a slider?

Tested one last night filled it through the port on top with a hose and no regulator then added pressure via the air tap and it worked great.

I am going to make some custom brackets to stash it right over the wheel well in the bed where the space is virtually useless to the bed rail. I'll post when I have it done.

How did that work out. Does it restrict the bladder expansion from pressurization? Do you have any pics to share of how you set it up?

Nope, it's actually worked out really well, the notches on the waterport perfectly fit into this channel on the inside of the rack. I'm about to leave my parents to drive home, I'll take & post some pics later tonight.

Fabricated from 1/8th inch flat stock. Cut with a plasma cutter and bent on a vice.

Very nice! I wish I had access to a plasma cutter...

Side Note: What would be needed to pressurize this unit while using an ARB compressor?
