What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Made my 2008 with 293,300 miles, tow my loaded, two horse trailer to Massasoit State park for a Sunday trail ride.

Any1 know the biggest xs power batt i can fit under hood? Im tbinking d3100 or d3400

 

how did you use to hold the lights down with.

 

Yes they don't like. But I've had nothing but good luck with them. They sometimes get corroded after a few years because they are not sealed. But I have used on multiple things over the past years. Once or twice i had to install a new one after a few years(because it was outside and not protected at all). but when used in the cab i have NEVER had to replace one or had a problem. Of course nothing is better than soldering but sometimes it can't be done because of the wire location. So i don't mind all the different types of taps. But would stay away from them if doing HD wiring or something that will get wet or outside of cab.

 

I used them for raptor lights then electrical tape them & put extra sleeving on them as I do w/ any wiring job I do just for added protection.

 

So me and the tacoma went into jacksonville to look into some free education i might be able to get on my resume, well fuck jacksonville AND its 1 way traffic. Took a turn into oncoming traffic , the road was empty till it wasnt. Scared the shit out of me. Got a police warning. I was following my damn phone gps

 

I hate when that happens!

 

And i just got a ticket for 9 over 15 minutes before that on i 95

Definitely sounds like you're have a really shitty day.

 

Finally wired up the indicator lights in my ARB bumper, other than the wiring diagram listing the wrong color wire it worked first attempt and the wiring looks pretty clean IMO

Now I just need to figure out how to wire and set up my winch...:/
